The 6144 × 4608 regional texture uses original NASA image detail; it is not an upscaled mobile texture. It is cropped, reduced and locally encoded as KTX2 UASTC with mipmaps. This is a historical composite, not live Earth imagery. The atmosphere, lighting, cloud altitude and orbital view are artistic approximations.
